Has to be ASOS. My wishlist is never-ending. I also loved that they were one of the first e-retailers to use catwalk videos to show how the clothes actually looked on people! Their marketplace section is great too for a unique find!

At the risk of being labelled a ‘fan-boy’, my favourite brand has to be Apple.  From their ‘Think Different’ to ‘There’s an app for that’ campaigns, Apple have always succeeded in creating a powerful emotional connection with their brand, as well as a strong desire to own their products.  On a personal note, I can always feel the anticipation rising prior to their WWDC and Special Event keynotes!

ONLINE OR INSTORE?

Both! Online is great for convenience and scoping out purchases, but nothing beats getting hands on with the product.

I have to say it’s Red Bull – health issues aside – as their ability to embody such attitude, energy, daring and skill and have such an impact in bringing about the golden age of extreme sports has to be admired. Shame I’m a Mercedes F1 fan…

I’m going to cheat here and say Playstation – as I’m a born and bred gamer, the Playstation Network has never failed to impress. And with the advent of Playstation VR – it’s only set to get even better!

Selfridges, but especially Selfridges in London, it’s layout, offering, point of sale and general feel of the store makes shopping there easy and pleasurable.

ONLINE
For me it’s Amazon.co.uk, as a working mum of two children with various activities, parties and life requirements, I need a go to place that is easy to use, fairly priced and reliable in delivery. I ask, and nine times out of ten, they can deliver, meeting my requirements on choice, quality, and price. It makes my life so much easier.

Its advertising is striking and memorable and the clothing has the right mix of technical excellence and style to boot.

LOCAL BUSINESS
Finisterre (finisterre.com). Okay, not that local (they are based in St Ives), but Finisterre is a manufacturer and retailer of innovative clothing intended for use by cold-water surfers. The brand prides itself on using responsibly sourced fabrics and there is a real no-frills, honest approach to the thinking behind the designs and purpose of each piece of clothing. You can sense the passion for what the business stands for and the coats in particular are incredibly lightweight, warm and well-made. I’ve no doubt the store experience would be a good one; shame they are all by the sea (and in London, obviously).

With an expansive range of products, regular seasonal updates and expert advice from enthusiastic staff, I find a visit where I can interact with the product a much more rewarding experience than shopping online.

And, when it comes to purchase, they even suggest price matching on your behalf to ensure you get a really good deal. Perfect.

My Favourite retailer has to be John Lewis, I always feel like they have chosen all of the best products and doesn’t matter who you are buying for there is something there for them, the stores are so easy to navigate, beautiful seasonal POS, the online experience is just fab, overall making making my life easier unfortunately making me shop far too much!

I do also love MADE.com. It feels like you are saving not spending on such beautifully designed products.
