Launching a new collection of mattresses and beds for Rest Assured.


Challenge

Rest Assured is an established British manufacturer of high quality, traditional pocket spring mattresses and beds. They wanted to launch a new collection of beds, starting with a trade launch at the biggest bed exhibition of the year.

Shaping shopper behaviour

The Rest Assured team recognised there was a gap in the market for a range of affordable, traditional pocket spring mattresses offering the luxurious comfort of natural British wool.

It was from here that the new British Wool Collection was born. We extracted the core characteristics of the new product range, British wool; sourced from British farms and manufactured by British craftsmen in the heart of Lancashire. We used this to shape the naming and strategic direction for the new collection along with and the creative treatment for its presentation to shoppers.

We also developed a photographic style and approach to support this NPD. The creative direction for the collection was applied to the exhibition stand, support literature and roll-out through in-store POS solutions into independent retailers across the country.

Driving business

The Rest Assured British Wool Collection is currently rolling out into over 100 independent stores. The Rest Assured team are currently in talks with additional retailers to roll this out even wider. We’ll be tracking this uptake with the Rest Assured team to understand how the new collection grows the brand portfolio and presence in the market.
