Welcoming two new faces

We’ve expanded our team, and are delighted to announce the appointment of Lexy Woolley and Katie Jackson.

Lexy joins as an Account Manager with a wealth of experience in events and marketing. Her last role was with N20 where she worked on instore events as well as brand awareness for Poundland and ACDOCO. She has also previously worked at Blue Chip Marketing where she got the chance to work with O2 and Kellogg’s.

Lexy explains why she wanted to work at The Behaviours Agency (TBA): “TBA focuses on insight and strategy, which when combined with impactful creative, paves the way for really effective campaigns. They work with a range of B2B and B2C clients and continuously educate and train their staff, something that I find really important to ensure I’m always improving, performing my best and giving all I can to our clients. I’ve been allocated a great mixture of clients, so am really looking forward to getting stuck in!”

Katie was previously in the creative department of Marlin Digital Imaging working on various projects from brochures to exhibitions and campaign work for clients such as Plumbs and Stockport NHS.

About starting at TBA, Katie said: “When I came into the office it was lovely to see the TBA brand throughout the company from the office itself and signage to little things like branded mugs. I’m looking forward to becoming familiar with our clients and their brand guidelines, making my work flow to the best possible standard and of course getting to know my new work colleagues!”

To help us get to know our two new faces a little bit better we put them through their paces with our new starter quiz…

What’s your favourite national or international brand?

Lexy: One of my favourite brands is Missguided. Their marketing strategy has enabled them to grow from a simple clothing website to an international fast-fashion retailer within a matter of years. Their tongue-in-cheek and somewhat risqué adverts enable them to stand out from the crowd and push the boundaries, whist their ability to quickly incorporate current trends within their marketing comms ensures they remain relevant and in-tune with their target audience.

Katie: Carvela Kurt Geiger – I love a good pair of heels and I find that I can always come across a pair of Carvela heels that I fall in love with and just have to purchase!

And your favourite local business?

Lexy: Dusk till Pawn in the Northern Quarter. Tucked away behind a bus shelter on Stevenson Square, with the facade of an old pawnbrokers, you’d be forgiven for walking straight past and never noticing it. It’s a fab little bar with a brilliant selection of music, the best Pornstar Martinis in Manchester (take my word for it!) and is the only place I’ve ever known to give you homemade champagne sorbet rather than a shot of prosecco. The service is second to none, it’s relaxed, unpretentious and they do things differently. What’s not to love?

Katie: Tanning Boutique, my local beauty salon. It has everything under one roof, which makes it perfect for when I’m getting ready for a night out!

Who is your favourite shopping companion?

Lexy: My best friend Megan. Growing up we used to spend weekends in the Northern Quarter tirelessly searching for a designer bargain in one of the many vintage shops. We still visit the occasional vintage shop, but shopping trips together nowadays are filled with similar purchases and brutal honesty!

Katie: My dad, we both love looking in every shop and more than likely end up back in the first shop we went in to make a purchase!

Shopping online or in store?

Lexy: In store. I love the physical experience of shopping and seeing what retailers are currently doing in store to encourage shoppers to buy and to enhance their shopping experience. I also think you can learn a lot about a brand from their staff and the customer service you receive.

Katie: My preference has to be shopping online. Instore I can never find my size in the items that I like!

Black Friday or January sales?

Lexy: January sales always! Money and shopping vouchers are usually the only thing on my Christmas wish list so January sales are the perfect opportunity to get an entirely new wardrobe.

Katie: Black Friday for me, why not try and get a good deal on those last minute Christmas pressies!
